whatever anyone else is doing... that's the only thing the eardrums won't do. the band consists of three singers, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists -- fraternal twin brothers tim and grant partridge, plus childhood friend james maclean. proud proponents of the diy tradition, the eardrums' homemade recordings demonstrate a genuine love of music and a keen attention to detail, while their raucous live shows reaffirm the value of originality and simplicity in rock and roll. they continue to reinvent themselves, even mid-show, but their signature sound, rooted in blues and classic punk, always shines through the beautiful noise.
